and especially to my Kitty Bee Design
friends who came over from the Kitty Bee Spotlight post.
I'm so glad you guys flew through cyber space over here from my December Spotlight!
I know December can be such a hectic
month with all the holiday related parties and celebrations, so I've
decided to use the mellow 'Gello Giraffe Starry Night' for my spotlight card.
He's just the most relaxed giraffe under the night sky in my opinion. Look at
him making a wish on those stars...
For this card I used my carta bella -
Christmas wonderland paper pad, copic markers, some Michael's Crafts brads and
a little wink of stella... simple and sweet!
I'm so happy you all came to visit me
here at Sugar Cards,
and if you love this digital image as
much as I do,
I'm so glad you
dropped by my blog to check out the card I created for Challenge 86 -
For this December
card I've decided to use Best Bun!
they just look like
the sweetest couple to me =)
My husband and I both
love animals, and this is me imagining us as bunnies LOL
(I'm obviously the
bunny with the blue bow hahaha)
For this card I
used Michael's Crafts star brads, Chapter's book store green ribbon, copic
markers, clear wink of stella and my mind's eye 12 days of Christmas paper pad
I bought from Winners (I think in the US, this store is called Marshall's) ...
Easy as pie to

the card I created for Challenge 84 - Fall Colours!
For this November card I've decided to use
Carrot Wagon Bun!
he's just so ADORABLE!
I can just imagine him harvesting all his
carrots before the first winter frost LOL!
I really wanted my cards to match his carrot and
wagon... So for this card I used Michael's Crafts brads, Chapter's book store
green ribbon, copic markers and some seasonal paper scraps I found in my
recycling scrap bin... hehe

do, please head over to the Kitty Bee

A Big Hello yo all to my Time for Tea Design friends!!!
It's me again, and I'm back to share with you guys my November card!
I've decided to use one of the newest images from Time for Tea Designs "Under the Mistletoe - girl"...
Since it's only a few weeks until the Holidays, I was inspired by Christmas colours!
This card was so simple to create, I just used my Michael's Crafts red ribbon, copic markers, Lawn Fawn - Bokeh in the snow paper pad, my P-touch label printer for the sentiment and wink of stella for her sweater.
For this card, I used another a very old Bugaboo digital stamp I bought 5-6 years ago from Jodie's store, and my Lawn Fawn - Fall Plaid paper pad I recently purchased which I thought was perfect for this season.
Well this is a very late post for my last vacation with the hubby last month!
Just to mix things up, I wanted to keep you all updated with our latest trip, away from home... and we decided in the last minute to go to Chicago!!!
If you've even been to the city where America's current president used to reside, it's a mellow but beautiful city. We stayed on the Magnificent Mile, just beside the 360* Chicago building / John Hancock Tower.
My husband compared Chicago to, NYC's calmer brother, because of the friendly people and city's slower pace about town.
Here's some photos we took during our week there
Of course we had to have a Chicago style hot dog minus the ketchup hehehe
At the navy pier during their 100 year anniversary!
At Wrigley field for a cubs game with our hotdogs again hehe
Of course we can't enjoy the game without proper Wrigley Field hotdogs.
... So much hotdogs during this trip lol haha
My favourite buildings in Chicago, the marina city towers. They look like corn on the cob hehe
Having our first deep dish pizza at giordano's on mag mile.
At the Chicago art museum
Hanging out where Batman was filmed.
The famous Chicago Bean aka Cloud Gate.
Well that's about it folks!! I hope you enjoyed our mini trip to the USA :)
Hi everyone, especially to my TIME FOR TEA friends from Deni's blog!

I'm so excited about being asked to join the Time for Tea Designs team as a permanent team member! yay!
So for my first card as a team member, I wanted to share with you all this cutie named Christmas elf! I used my Michael's Crafts red ribbon, copic markers, clear wink of stella and my mind's eye 12 days of Christmas paper pad I bought from Winners for make this card ... hehe it was so simple and easy to create!

I hope you're all well! I'm so ecstatic to share with you all the new images from Time for Tea Designs! For this card I used geeky glasses.... She's so sweet!
I coloured this digital image with copics and with my wink of stella glitter pen. I imagined this 'studious' girl to be an international student studying somewhere in Europe; so I used my MME traveler paper pad and stacked 4 layers of card stock for my card... with some recollection pearls on the side.
I hope you're all well! It's been long time with no post, but I have 3 brand new wonderful news to share with you all, that's been keeping me busy these past 3 months... (I'll announce the other 2 new news in the next few weeks... )

I'm so honoured to join another team with Lynda again! She's super fantastic and a great team leader =)

I feel like I'm in a major rut with my card making, but I've actually taken up sewing and painting lately. I'm hoping to open up my own etsy shop and sell some of my creations when I feel I have improved enough.
I hope you're all well! My hubby and I just came back from Orlando, Florida! Which is also known as the Sunshine State, how adorable! It make me so happy just thinking about it :)
We ended up spending several days between the Universal Studios resort and Disney World Resort.
Flying the red eye flight from Vancouver -> Toronto -> Florida was pretty easy... Except for all the babies we sat with. Yikes! I've never heard so many babies cry in unison. Lol
Anywho, we ended up staying at the Cabana Bay Beach Resort in Universal Studios to save time with transportation to the parks. It was a 50s themed hotel, that reminded me of Dexter's apartment from the TV show hehehe
The front area was so large, that several huge Palm trees can fit inside the main lobby.
Anywho, the main reason for our stay at Universal Studios was to visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!!!
I'm a huge Harry Potter fan since I was in the 7th grade and grew up reading the books. I'll attach some of the photos I took from the theme park.
This was the knight bus in front of the park.
This was taken inside the Leaky Cauldron Restaurant (you can see the leaky cauldron behind all the people eating... and it actually has a crack)
Our first butterbeer from the Leaky Cauldron of course ;) with the souvenir mugs
Weasley's Wizard Wheezes store across the Leaky Cauldron!
We had the Toad in a Hole and Fish Pie as our first meal at the Leaky Cauldron. The service was really fast and there were LOTS of seats.
Inside Gringotts Bank
We also had to buy pumpkin juice and gilly water. The pumpkin Juice was OK, and the gilly water was just plain water LOL
sign outside the Leaky Cauldron
First night at florean fortescue's ice cream parlour;
I had butterbeer ice cream and the hubby had, salted caramel and apple crumble :)
#12 Grimmauld Place, London ... Where Sirius Black grew up heheheh look you can see Kreacher the house elf looking out from the second floor window.
Hogwarts Castle the following day.
Inside the 3 broomsticks
Cauldron Cake from Honeydukes
Of course we had to go back and try chocolate and taste ice cream with chopped nuts
Here's a photo of the Gringotts Bank and the dragon that exhales fireballs.
In front of the Universal's Globe
We also stayed at Coronado Springs inside the animal kingdom of Disney World
There's an alligator living in this lake (which Disney didn't tell their guests, we found out through another guest... Yikes!)
