London day 4

Hey guys! Sorry about the lack of card/ craft postings, but I'll be in London for another couple of days, then I'll be off to Paris. But I'll be posting about my day to day adventures here in Europe.

Well the hubby and I had another very very busy day (ended up with new   blister....ouch). We went to the Buckingham Palace to see the changing of the guards.

Then we walked beside the palace to the Queen's Gallery. There the Queen keeps royal paintings and works of art safe for the public to see.

Here's a pendant that was given to the Queen as a present.

Then we went to the National Gallery to look at paintings by our favourite artists   Leonardo Da Vinci, Renoir, Monet, Rembrandt and Van Gogh.

Finally, we had dinner and I had another traditional english dish called the British beef pie - (Tender pieces of pulled british beef and red wine gravy, in shortcrust pastry, served with garden peas and your choice of buttery mash) and the hubby had Thai green chicken curry - (Chicken breast pieces, with pak choi, green peppers and spinach, in a rich thai-flavoured curry sauce, finished with coconut cream).

Both were from the same restaurant we went to the day before yesterday called the slug and lettuce. Both dishes were so yummy we keep going back there.

If you guys ever come to London, I would definitely suggest this restaurant. It's really good. Well until tomorrow then.
